I'll buy the new mini because the displayport can transport Audio and Video just like HDMI and I will use it with the BS3 in my Livingroom as Alternative for a AppleTV I think for all who have "old" Televisions with no digital input the old mini is perfect choice because you can do everything the TV supports. Best would be for all of you
I also saw the Beolab 5 in Christian Bale's penthouse in Dark Knight. Where are the wires, as in all B&O appearances and advertisements? Anyway, its "Product Placement." Do the manufacturers have to pay to have their products put in a movie or TV show?
As far as I know B&O has to pay a lot

I think that there will never be a adapter to scart or s-video, because the graficscard can't output such a signal. The best way is to buy a cheap receiver with hdmi in and s-video out Do you use the mac mini as a mediacenter or as a computer on the TV? If you don't need that much power then I think it would be better for you to buy a refurb

Yesterday I tested a 2k4k videodemo on my 30" Apple Monitor and I must say the quality is superb. But you can't store it on an optical Medium, because nothing has enough capacity. 10 seconds are 400MB!!!!!!!!!!! In future this might be necesary bacause we all have digital wallpapers and TV's with 200" but at the moment 1080p is enough
This may not be the correct forum but i will give it a try. Wanted a Lab 7.1 as a centre speaker for my Beovision 4 set up but can't justify to 2K spend. So, got hold of the empty shell of a 7.1 and a front cover and want to try to do a DIY job. Any comments or advise would be great i'm happy to buy the woofers

airfoil is a tool that can stream all audio from the mac to the Airport Express. Just try the demo from the site
But why can't you buy a 50 inch plasma from B&O below the 10.000 euros? Everyone knows the panels don't cost much nowadays. If you have a top model 50 inch with the latest neo-plasma panel from Panasonic for less then 2000 euros, why can't B&O make a 50 inch plasma for 4000 euro? I think that is
