You may have missed this page: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1037[
The download page?
I guess you never looked at systems like Sonos or Squeezebox. Compatible with iTunes out of the box. As well as importing playlists made from iTunes.
I hadn't, but I just have.

You want it to sync with iTunes? You'll have to talk Apple into that. No device other than an Apple device will sync with iTunes, unless you use some extremely clunky workarounds. Wireless is possible, but it'd be a bit slow at syncing by Wi-Fi. You could put a wireless bridge on the ethernet port, or probably shove a USB Wi-Fi adapter in it

It's no less open than an iPod. What do you want it to do?

This is the same as with any pc connected to a network, or even any network attached storage device. You won't be able to connect another BS5, as this is simply a monitor (VGA) and Human-Interface-Device (USB). In order to make this work, you'd need two soundcards, two graphics cards, and something to lock the HID inputs to each instance of

Evidently just a huge coincidence then - I'll now actually bother getting out the multimeter and see where there's a hole in my circuit...

The Mk V panel isn't LED, so the backlight should be consistent over the whole panel. Wouldn't really expect clouding issues, I would have thought. Re the new software (and/or the problem you had a couple of pages back that Struer were going to test) - both you and I had the problem of audio over ML being quieter in the right channel in 8.12a

There are 5 sockets on the back of the TV. Two marked 'front', two marked 'rear' and one marked 'subwoofer'. The Beolab 2 should be connected to this subwoofer socket. Then in the 'Speaker Type' menu, you should make sure 'Subwoofer' set to 'Yes'.
