• Re: New Software released for BV7-40 Mark III/IV and BS3

Recently had my BS3/BV4 updated to 7.05, and the engineer suggested that the current thinking was that the HDCP crashing issues may be related to the new programme guide on Sky HD!

I hear 7.1.1 is now out.
These sw updates don't fix my major 'HDCP crashing issues' I've experienced since I bought the BV7-40 MKIV. • Re: BV7 Blu Ray tested in German magazine, sound sets new test standards

A trip to John Lewis will illustrate this for you! However I continue to be surprised how a small company like B & O can maintain such an obviously better picture...

i find it rather boring looking tbh it doesn't make any statement apart from 'i can't afford a bv7'
Completely disagree! I don't like the BV7 personally - looks like a lot of other TVs. This one is exactly what I want a set to look like and has a better

  • Re: Serenata or the Iphone 3gs?
Does anyone have an issue with continually dropping their piephone? - I've lost count of how many times I've dropped mine while getting it out of my pocket etc.! Sometimes it's like handling a bar of soap in the bath! Sleek and slippery metal&glass design isn't necessarily a good thing when something

  • Re: Serenata or the Iphone 3gs?

The iPhone is clearly a great gadget though I only use mine for email and apps, as the sound quality from calls is poor. The Seranata is certainly different and in many ways quite likeable (if a bit cumbersome), and the sound quality is very good; but I find it just not very useable. The Vertu to my mind is the phone B & O should have made - a high
