  • Re: Replacement BS2 Battery = Massive Rip Off >:|

j0hn, Is your BS2 less than three years old? The battery on one of mine was down to 1 hr of play time and within seven days of warranty expiration. I took it to the local B&O store and they sent it to the repair center (Arlington Heights, IL in the USA) and it came back 10 days later totally refurbished, including a new shell, for no cost to me

  • Re: Apple TV vs Archos TV+

Yes, ATV can be controlled by Beo4/5. I have a similar set-up to what you are considering: BV8, ATV, Tivo, BL3s. Everything is controlled through a Beo4 via the BV8 ir blasters and all boxes are hidden from view. Very clean.

  • Re: New Battery - Beosound 2

I do not know what the part # is as I just gave my unit to the local B&O Store and recieved it back about 10 days later. Perhaps you local store can provide the part #.

  • Re: New Battery - Beosound 2

One of my three BS2's was used more than the others and after about two years of use the battery life declined to about 3 hrs. I sent it back to B&O and they rebuilt it with a new battery. It is now back to 8-10hrs of life and I am now otating the use of the three units to maximize the battery life. I suggest that you need a new battery....

  • Re: Apple TV adds internet Radio

Finally..... way overdue since it could have been incorporated from the beginning. Until this update I had dedicated an old G4 17" laptop to send internet radio to the ATV. Now it is a one box solution for my current needs, both audio and video. BTW I find the selection of movies to be quite good (and getting better) particularly documentaries

  • Re: Improvements in BV8 software?

I recently had my BV8 updated to the latest software (6.???) and I have noticed that when listening in P Mute mode and you select standby, the picture now flashes on for a second and then goes out. Also the volume "fade" is truncated. The older software did not do this. I find the new software to be very non-B&O with respect to this as

A very refreshing take on the situation! [/quote] B, Over the years I have come to view the door dings on the 911 as "patina" indicating that, yes, this

You have just returned at 9:00P from a long business trip with a couple of unpleasant layovers. You climb into your 911 at the airport parking lot and drive to your home. You tap the appropriate button on the Radio RA remote to open the garage door and light the house before you enter. The entrance door senses the presence of the electronic key in your

  • Re: our BV8-32 installation

Roger, Perhaps my ears are getting old but I cannot distingush a sonic difference between the BV8:BL3 set-up and my other system consisting of BC2:BL9 when listening to music (the BV8:BL3 system is in "pmute" and the BV8 speakers are inactive), with the obvious exception of the base response. In video mode all speakers are active and I have

  • Re: our BV8-32 installation

Elephant's installation provides a good example of what many must face: installed casework that, for optimum viewing, must be significantly altered. The proper view panel height (as can be confirmed with an internet search) is at eye level from the viewing position. This position is typically "sitting in a chair" and the view panel height
