Have just taken delivery of a wall bracket for a BC1 from Lifestyle. It was sold as used but looks new to me. Came with a couple of B&O freebies. Fantastic service! Vikinguk

Is there a specification for B&O turntable belts? I have a 1203 Beogram that's running fine at present, but I know that every so often the belt gets fatigued and has to be replaced. I think the last time I did it was through trial and error looking for something compatible from another maker. Incidentally, in the lifetime of this turntable I've

A correction! My email to Morethan AV from 19th April apparently failed in its transmission and I didn't notice the related ISP warning. So apologies to Morethan AV! (Collecting BC1 Sunday. Unfortunately its a 500 mile round trip! Mustn't forget the Allen key so that I can get it off the stand and into the car!) Vikinguk

A couple of minor niggles: the volume control slides can cause crackle or even loss of sound on one speaker if they're not regularly slid back and forth. One of the wavelength lights has failed, and if I listen vey carefully there is a

B&O shares traded at around €100 for a long time 2006-7 then they dropped to around €10 at the beginning of April 09 and are now at €5. What does this say about the prospects for B&O. Are B&O owners so impressed with their equipment that they are also rushing in to buy the shares at these bargain prices, or do they share the

Here's my take on the 1203. I bought one new, with speakers and an amp tuner, at a discount, from Beaver Radio Liverpool, some time in the 70's just when Beaver were ending their B&O franchise. Soon found that it wouldn't quite finish playing a record, and of more concern, had a tendency to snatch the stylus across the tracks before
