The only company I know off that produces powerlink enabled amplified speakers that are of good quality is Detoma in Germany. www.detoma.com As any of these are kind of out of my budget, I resorted to making my own.......

I have enhanced al least 10 pairs of speakers by now. Though I only 'beolab-ed' about 3 pairs of speakers. The first ones I did was a pair of RL 60.2 for a friend of mine as he wasn't really satisfied anymore with the sound of them. Hi, I have a beogram 5500 with a mmc4 cartridge. The cartridge just fell apart yesterday. Where can I find replacements for these as B&O no longer produces them? I need one to do a little makeover on. I have a 250w icepower unit to put in, change the driver and crossover and going to add a powerlink. I've done one of these before and they sound a lot better, as the originals are way underpowered Regards

Hi, I have a complete beosystem 5000 which has the same problem as your beogram. Let me tell you one thing.....abresives don't work. After trying to find a match for the brushed alu panels (which is nearly impossible, let alone costly...) I had to find a solution that was readily available, quick and cheap to do. A friend of mine gave me a lead
