  • Re: Does B & O conduct Focus Groups?

focus groups – horrible things – design by a committee of non-designers.the result is paralysis by analysis.

  • Advice

Okay – I am seriously thinking getting some new audio gear – I don't have a lot of space so scale of kit is an issue. Either beocenter 2 with lab 3s or beosound 4 with lab 3s. Can some of you guys shed some light on the best option? mason

  • Re: Is B & O serious?

Stan, in some respects you have made my point for me. Product longevity is at odds with technological covergence. The nature of digital technology means new products are replacing older ones on a daily basis – this is the issue B&O have to deal with if they are to remain a premium brand charging £6000 for a 32" TV. However I don't

  • Re: Perfect reason to buy a BV8!

You won't regret it – even if you upgrade at a later date you can put it in your bedroom.I think it's a great TV. The design is fantastic – classic B&O thinking – unconventional but not detrimental to function. Enjoy! – Mason

  • Re: can b&o survive??!

Can I say this:I bought a white BV8 32" last week. I think it is great value. When I purchase this kind of product I consider it first and foremost as a TV but I also consider it as furniture. It is a large object that has to look (in the words of mr Lewis) as good when it is off as when it is on. The plethora of gloss black panels leave me cold

  • Re: White 8-32: getting dirty?

Yes – I am a designer (and a collector). I am a big fan of many Scandinavian (particularly Danish) designers. Poul Kjaerholm http://www.flickr.com/photos/9713498@N08/952519235/ (his chairs are at B&O in Struer), Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen, Eric Magnussen and David Lewis… yes, I know… he's a Brit :) Check out my flickr site
