  • Re: BeoSound 5 Photos

Hi everyone. Am I missing something here? Will the BS5 offer a better user experience than running iTunes off my Mac laptop through the aux of my beocentre 2? Will the interface be better than iTunes? I am confused. Is the idea that I get a similar experience but with the B&O badge? This is not meant to be negattive – I am excited about it

  • Re: Another direction....

£3,500?? – I was told around £1700 at the Knightsbridge store. It had better do something impressive for 3.5K.

So Beosound 5 is NOT by David Lewis. Interesting. Maybe they have pulled Jensen out of retirement.

  • Re: BV8 On the shelf?

Darn it... thought I'd fixed you with the "solid gold comment", then you shoot me down with the "melting it down" retort :) Vive la BV8!

  • Re: BV8 On the shelf?

"Little thought to design"... yeah right! Just because a product doesn't scream look at me does not equate to little thought concerning design. The BV8 is a beautiful design, elegant and discreet – just like the MX before it. It has a superb picture and excellent sound. I have a white BV8 32 with Beocenter 2 and Beolab 3's along

  • Re: BeoLab 2 Colour?

It reminds me of the 70's Porsche Targa – nice!

  • Beolab 3500

Hi all Can anyone advise on the beolink wireless option with the Beolab 3500? I have a Beocenter 2 masterlinked to a BV8 and a pair of Beolab3s in my living room (I have an open-plan living room / kitchen) and I was thinking of placing a BL3500 in the kitchen. How does the wireless link work, is it discreet, do I have to have the box out in the open

  • Re: DVD1 - freezes after 30+ minutes

I had the same problem – had the mech replaced for about £150.00 and it still went pear-shaped. Very frustrating! In my experience DVD 1's have always been unreliable. I had a £120 Sony player that was bullet proof – even down to playing my kids scratched discs satisfactorily. B&O should hang their heads in shame considering

  • Re: Everything is different now ...

Alex: I'm still intrigued RE the new 5 system. Apple may have provided amazing under-the-skin technology and of course were the first to truly adopt multi-touch displays properly, but as far as music goes, this hasn't massively changed browsing music. I mean sure it's iTunes but even better, but nobody as yet has produced a media-center
