Just got delivery of a mint condition Beogram 4000 – wow, what a beauty. I am amazed at the build and quality of materials. I can't stop looking at the thing – a design classic! This is phase one of my vintage system (I have a bit of the new gear). Can anyone recommend me an amp and some appropriate speakers? The only problem I have

Hi all First time I have posted on this area of the forum. I am about to buy a beautiful Beogram 4000 but as far as I know it needs a little attention (new bulb and arm takes a while to lower down). Who do I contact in London to get it back to full working order. Very excited about having a vintage system – really want to get back to vinyl. Any

Thanks for the advice. The cassette is not a problem as I will use it for vinyle only. As for CDs I have a BC2. Studpid question – can you run Beolab 3s with the Beomaster 4400? Does Martin have a website?

Hi Peter Do you know if Frede restores other systems / turntables? I have been looking for a mint Beogram 4000 for about a year tgo start a vintage system. Any thoughts? best Mason

Looks great! I have virtually the same set-up (along with a BC2). BV8 – like marmite – loved or loathed. I love it – a unique B&O design.

I saw the BV8 40 last week at B&O in Islington – I thought the picture was stunning.

I have a white bv8 – a 32" since it was released. No problems with it getting dirty whatsoever. How often do you handle it? Hardly ever. Wipes clean really easy also looks great against a white wall.
