  • B&O Turntable mystery

    I have posted this question in the B&O in the movies section and i have gotten no response so here it is. Does anyone remember seeing a movie with a Bang turntable that had a light up cartridge/tonearm? It was simply the trademark B&0 on an ivory background about 1/4by1/4 on the cartrige. I remembered liking, but not remembering the title or

    Anyone remember which movie has the scene where a guy is drinking whiskey in a small room and sits dowm to listen to a B&O system that has a light up cartrige with the Bang symbol on the front? I know it's vauge description but i cannot for the life of me remember the film or actors...maybe Fracture?

    Thank you for the email. I think i better understand where you guys are coming from. I guess i can refurbish the crossovers and keep a good thing the way it is. Where are the crossover capacitor replacements here in the states? Any good vendors come to mind?

    I own a pair of these great units and i would like to refurbish them,with a twist. is there a current production seas driver replacement that can match or surpass my 1977 units? I do not understand crossovers and such and i would like the replacements to compliment the stock set up. I was eyeballing a pair of seas H1305-08 CA26RFX . Any suggestions

    i actually am in need of a repair shop, tweeters seem to crack at certain volume, and my woofers are in need of re coning as uv light has bleached them to a thin mache. amazing how great they do sound even after 30+ years.

    thank you for the info and yes the trumpet stands and hardware on the rear of the cabinets was complete as well, however i use them in an entertainment center that looks like it was made for them.

    I am very new to the B&o culture so go easy. i bought a pair of good condition beovox s60's from a garage sale, and i think they sound wonderfull on my mcintosh amp. I would like to put together an all original system around these speakers. Does anyone know what specific amps, cables, turntables ect.. were marketed along side these? thanks in
