Hello, Having recently moved into a different home from a home where our Beosystem 7000 was custom installed and wired years ago with audio distributed throughout the home (Beolink), we are now trying to utilize our older system within the format of our new home. Although an older technology, we very much enjoyed this
Many Thanks for your post here. How do you use it as a audio input expander and as a preamp? Do you use subwoofer output as a preoutput? Please let me know. Cheers
I have my AV7000 hooked up to my beosound4000. My remote controls both units. The subwoofer output on the AV7000 is already amplified, so can't

This unit is meant for use of powered speakers (beolab). You could use passive speakers and connect the 7000 to specific B&O amp module (MCL2P) for each pair of speakers. Works just fine. Sorry to say the sound of the dolby processor is adequate, not high end and newer formats are not compatible. Certainly is not up to current surround processor
Thanks guys, all useful information. I also often think about P30's and wonder if the Cona might help them a little (looks like they go down to 49Hz). Of course a Beolab 2 would be ideal; someday, maybe, hopefully. I just can not bring myself to get an ugly, purely functional, box sub. I read that CX 50's are
Anybody tried AV 7000 for sound only rather than a AV system?
I was using one sound only for a couple of years. I upgraded to a beosytem1 this year.

Since he (the string of random numbers that started the thread) says that there's no in-home service when there very clearly is , I'm going to assume that we're not being told the whole story of what's happening here.
Trip, please do not make any statement

Check and make sure all connectors are plugged in properly. Unplug both AV and BS9000 from the mains for a couple of minutes and plug back in.
I'm curious why you are still hanging on to that?
It's the cheapest way (under$100) to get 5.1 control for beolabs. With the beolink converter also controlled my beoport without problems. The video part was never a consideration for the AV7000 (nor for the beosystem1) If you want better image control
