Hi - trying to get the pc input on my Beolink Active working. My BEO4 does not have the pc command. I thought I read someplace that V.Aux or V.Tape2 were equivalent commands. Am I correct on this? Does the input source have to be playing when the command is invoked? I'm using an AUX to mini-jack cable. Again, I thought I read this cable should work

Thanks I suppose the only way to keep the lights off and the doors closed in a cabinet is to cut the power to it. I appreciate your help.

Hi - would someone please confirm that the doors can be locked on the Overture using a Beo4 remote. I have added Shift to the remote, but when I press List, then Shift and a number, the Overture powers up. FYI, the Overture is a type 2638, SW 2.1, S/N 13326889. Thanks for your help!

Mika, It's not worth it to me to have it fixed, as I have a BM 7000, Overture and BM 1900 in various rooms and it just wouldn't be used. What postal code does it need to be shipped to?

I have a Beomaster 5000 that I am going to retire. It works, but after some listening tests over the weekend, I've realized that it no longer has the sound quality it once had. It also runs very hot. I can remove the CPU (with some guidance,) if that's all you're looking for or ship the entire unit. I'll sell the MCP 5000 on Ebay as

Miami, Florida As I have imported all of my CD's to ITunes and still own a BeoSound Overture for the rare instance that I would want to listen to a CD, I have decided to sell (or trade) my Beogram CD7000. I bought it on EBay five years ago from the original owner. For the last three years, it has been seldom used; more to keep everything functioning

Jack - Thanks for the info. I would like it to come on when my Mac wakes up and streams to Airport Express, which is connected to AUX. I tried connecting my CD 7000 to the Aux, and it comes up as PHONO when I power it up. But PHONO isn't available as a source during programming either. Interesting about the 5500. I was using a Beomaster 5000 with

I would like my Overture to switch on and select the Auxiliary input every morning, but I don't see AUX when scrolling through the sources when programming. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. - Jonathan

Hello - I have misplaced the cardboard insert placed in the tray when shipping (I do have the "screws.") I plan on selling the unit and am concerned about not having it. Is it essential and if so, would anyone have a tracing of it so I could construct one? Thanks.
