Hello! I'd like to connect my MX5500 to MCL, so I need a MCL2AV, or Xtra TV kit. Also a few meters of cable would be fine. So, please PM if you have one lying around or have an idea where to find one. Thanks, Pekka

Hello! You will need one relay box for each of the IR receivers. The receiver cable is connected inside the relaybox, to a connection block, using screws. Then the relay boxes are connected to the Beomaster via a link cable. This one will connect to one pair of loudspeaker sockets. There can be up to 4 relay boxes in one loop. They are daisy chained

Hi, I have the primary loudspeaker sockets muted in my BM5500. All was OK untill I plugged in headphones. They worked fine, but after unplugging them, the speakers did not come up anymore. Changing to the other sockets help, so the amp is OK. Pressing the mute-button does not release it, nor do repluggin/unplugging the headphones. So, should I go after
The FM and AM displays can be corrected using the procedures on pages 7-11 and 7-12 in the service manual. Looks simple enough.
OK, thanks Graham! If I got it right, I need to open the set to service position to remove the glass panel, to get access to the TESTMODE plug. I'll give it a try during holidays

Hello, My BC9500 had its battery changed, and after that, its FM frequency display has been of for about +0.3 Mhz. Is there a simple pot somewhere to tune? Or some more drastic? It's located pretty far from where I got it serviced, so I'm not very keen in getting it back there. BR, Pekka

Hi, do anyone know, if the dealers can supply the 6th and 7th pins to the 7 pin DIN plugs? I've bought a couple of used Beograms and both are missing those. Fortunately I have one cable with these, so I can "recycle", but not very practical. If not dealers, any other possible source? BR, Pekka

OK, there seems to be many differen kinds of panels, at least 3 which I found. Mine is of type, where there is 4 PL sockets in row, and nothing else. Selecting speaker 5, shows Dolby pro logic, so maybe I have an old fashioned module? Pekka

Hi, I think, I saw a mention in some post about connecting digital DD/DTS input to Avant's Dolby module. I do not find it anymore. I have a Sony DVD player and there is a coax output for digital sound. Looking behind my Avant, and also the manuals at the site, I do not find any socket to connect it. Is it somehow through the Powerlink socket? And

I have a somewhat similar problem, but with a BC9500. It's installed at countryside, where it's quite common to get brief cuts or flickering in the mains power. If I just normally plug in the socket, I get a "medium" pop. But when there is a cut or bigger flikering the pop could be quite loud. It's a surprising, and not a nice
