burantek, Thanks for the response. Yes, it is an 8490 32". I agree, it is difficult to find someone locally. I am located in Tucson, Arizona. I note you are from SC--my birthplace.

It was manufactured in August, 2000. Yes, it is a real beauty, it is a shame it is just going to waste right now. Love the unit.

I have a black Avant that I hardly ever use and was thinking of selling. Does anyone have any idea what a fair price is at this time? The tv is in perfect condition and never had any problems. Thanks in advance.

Beojeff, Interesting info on the Beosystem 3. I had no idea that it was so seemingly lacking in the respects noted in your post. For that sort of investment, I would definitely wait to see if there are any updates/upgrades. As for the PS3, yes, besides hdmi, it only offers optical audio. I spoke with tech support and was told that it may be a power supply problem and that I need to send it in for repair. Very frustrating given that I have had so much trouble with the BeoCentre 2--this is

I am new to this forum, but have been an avid B&O fan and customer for 11 years now. I love the product, but can not say it is very "user friendly" in terms of troubleshooting. So, here is my issue. I have a BeoSystem 2, running through a BeoSystem1. The system was working fine, but now when I select DVD, the red indicator light of the
