• Re: BV10-40, some pictures and thoughts after 2,5 weeks with it.

Seanie: I have not many linkrooms. I have a 4002 in the kitchen, mounted to the wall above the regrigerator. In my bedroom I have a BV6-26 and the new Beotime. Other than that I still have my Avant, not as a link TV, but as an independant TV in the basement. And, I almost forgot, I have a Beolink Passive unit, hidden in the same spot as the Bluray Player

  • Re: Avant TV with projector

As far as I know you cannot control a projector through an Avant. You need a BV7-40 or something else with a beosystem3. A separate beosystem 3 could possibly work, but it is quite expensive. Good luck!

Thanks! We use the Rais stove for heating. Not the open fireplace. That hardly provides any heat at all. We have an air handling unit which privides fresh and clean indoor air. It has a rotary heat exchanger which uses the warm air from the livingroom to warm up fresh air from outside, and distribute warm, clean air to other parts of the house. This

Thank you! I'm norweigian, and live in the south east of Norway. How could you tell (apart from obvious spelling or grammatical errors..)? Like most norwegians we love the UK btw!

I'm not very happy with all these boxes you need to have connected to your TV, so I tend to hide them away. The Avant had everything built in, except a satellite tuner, which you can see well hidden behind the wood in this picture. When changing to the BV10 I had to have a separate Bluray player, and I could not hide it at the same spot. The Bluray

Some more pics from my living room. You can see the other BL4000 mounted on the wall left rear. The rear speakers are not placed perfect from a listening piont of view, but it works. And it looks good, to my eyes at least.

Here are some more pics from my living room with the Avant. I prefer the BV10 on the wall to the Avant that had to stand quite a bit from the wall. These old pictures are not taken in the christmas time, so it looks more tidy. This is how it usually looks.

  • Re: BV 10-40 and BL 5000

Reading this thread again, I have two comments. A larger cable cover would solve the problem with the cover on the back of the BV10. I have lots and lots of cables in mine, and I can turn the TV 45 degrees without any problems. Will the BL7-6 be as good a centre speaker as the 7-4 you have today. I think not. The 7-6 is by far the better speaker if
I would like it more, if 2 pictures where away from that wall. The wall is too busy for me. Too many eye catchers. Where should I look?
First the BV10 on the wall with the BL5 as front speakers.
Great setup, though!
Hello DoubleU Thank you for your honest opinion. I always
thank you thavn for replying i have wanted to get the low down on how people find the bv10 at home and i was very interested in your views one question how does the bv10 handle films with cgi effects especially with the 200hz do you think it gives films that artificial look or does it look natural to you? not a biggie
