I think the BV10 isn´t getting the credit it deserves as far as sound is conserned, espescially in this forum. I got my BV10 a few weeks before christmas, and I must say I´m delighted with the sound. If you use it as a standalone set, it has less bass than an Avant or a BV5, but other than that it is fabulous! Sound is more than just bass

I had a KEF subwoofer, and you connect it as said before in this thread. The KEF turned automatically on and off, and it worked great, I must say. After getting my BL5 I didn´t need it anymore, but I regret selling it much too cheap.

I previously had a surround setup with BL6000 as front, Avant as centre, BL4000 as rear and a KEF subwoofer. To my ears the BL6000 and the BL4000 sound almost the same. I even tried to switch them, and there really isn´t much difference in sound. The design of the BL6000 is absolutely wonderful, but if it´s a matter of where to place them

[quote user="Ehlerz"] The test mentions the startup times and concludes that this is actually ok... How is this ok??? 47 sec. to start a bluray?? These things are by far the only issues with BV 7, and i am so tired of people and tests only mentioning the stunning picture quality of say BV10, without mentioning the delay when going from text

The review of the BV7-55 is already there, in danish. To reveal some of it, it´s stunning. It has the best black ever measured, etc. The sound from the BL7-6 is obviously better than that in the BV10, but mainly due to lack of bass. You can eeven see some pictures of the BV7-55 standing next to the BV10-40. BIG difference. The 55 is a real beast

If you look at the edge led Samsung panels, you´ll probably find the correct sizes of the forthcoming BV10s.

Tha wall mount is very nice indeed. Rock solid and a nice little magnet to hold the TV close to the wall.

Everybody says the Bluray discs are not the future. They may be right, but how long shall we wait for 1080p broadcasts? I still haven´t seen a single channel transmitted in full HD. In fact most are still SD. There is a major difference in picture quality between HD ready and Full HD. I believe that Bluray will live far more than five years. I

It´s a Mac Book Pro, maybe 1,5 years old. Are you saying there is an easyer way than to use the DVI to HDMI sollution?
-
That should do it. My Mac doesn´t have a HDMI, so my B&O dealer has ordered a HDMI expander where we shall use a DVI to HDMI + a separate phono signal to get both sound and vision. The DVI has no sound, but the HDMI does.
