  • Re: Beosound 8 & Airport Express problems

Yep, I have tried the IPhone in the Aux socket and it plays fine, but i like your suggestion about the volume of the output i will try lowering it on the IPhone and try that. As to the Airport Express I think the output is possible too strong for the Beosound 8, I know that B&O are looking into this as they have had other units with the same problem

Thanks for the info. The reason i got the Beosound 8 is we are renovating our house so all the B&O gear is packed up and will be for the next 3 months, which is why I got the Beo8 for the interim, and using the Airport Express to stream music from my PC, I got too much stuff to put it all on my IPhone etc.

  • Beosound 8 & Airport Express problems

I bought the Beosound 8 to replace my Bose, the Beosound works great with my IPhone and IPad, sounds very crisp, but when i attach the Airport Express the sound disorts the base, I've tried it via lan (Cat 5) and wireless. Also there is a hum or very high pitched electric noise from the Beosound (drops a tone when you turn it off) but only when

  • Universal Remotes

Hi guys, does anyone use a Universal Remote like the Logitech Harmony 1000 for there B&O stuff, I currently have a: BV7, Beocentre 2, PS3, XBOX360 and a WDTV all nearly use their own remotes. I know the Harmony will control all of them including the B&O, but will it also control the stand tilt and turn as we use that alot. Cheers.

Hi, As far as I know there isn't any codes yet to control the WDTV, so I do have to use it's own remote...but the WDTV is great for playing back nearly any format inc. FLAC which is great for music purists, I have copied most of my albums this way and just put them on a hard drive which is always connected to the WDTV. Oh and yep, it's easy

Answers; Yes it is a MKIV set It is the version with no DVD or Bluray as I have a Beocentre2 which I need to keep as it plays all my old UK DVD's as it's region free. Plus the Beocentre2 looks great. Also I have a PS3 which is a great Bluray player, Xbox360 best games machine and the WDTV is the best media player! Phew feel like a nerd.....
