yes but will a beolink 1000 command the beomaster to self seek radio stations or indeed allow me to manually tune the unit? sandy

Alex, went into "options" then GO then got to "A.opt" pressed go and then "2", beomaster did indeed display " *2 " which disappeared after a second or so, now what should i try and press to search for radio frequencies? cheers sandy

Simeon: Beo4 controls ALL functions EXCEPT programming. Yes i have found this out now, it does indeed do all functions except programming the radio stations/frequencys. Is there any way to tune the radio stations without a MCP.? sandy

Hmmm, i will need to get back to you later on as my beosound 9000 is too close to the beomaster just now and it is being turned on with the beo4 !!! I will move the 6500 to another room and then try it. sandy

I have a Beo4 remote, but dont think this will work?

I recently got a Beomaster 6500, but i am not sure if i will need a MCP to operate it correctly, as i cannot get much sense out of it by jabbing randomly at the front panel!!! In the manuals section there is only a set up manual for this model, or a user guide for the beosystem 6500 but incorporating a beolink 7000 remote which i obviously dont have
