The beolab 2 s setup for the 8000 speakers. The source (beosound 9000) is set "flat", I never mess with the bass and treble. I will gladly take the advice and play with the positioning of the sub. Thanks, Rob

I have a beolab 2 with beolab 8000s. For some music the sub is TOO MUCH; for other things, it makes a nice addition. I have seriously considered taking the sub out of the picture, as the 8000s have enough bass for most situations. What I'd like to be able to do is toggle the beolab 2 on/off without having to rewire anything. So I guess my answer

As far as I know, B&O does not current have a plan to support BluRay. The BluRay standard is still being defined. Upgrading and existing DVD player to BluRay would require replacing the laser and all of the logic boards, i.e. replacing the entire unit. I know that Sony has some pretty steep licensing fees and a lot of people are waiting for those

I use a B&O cable with a head phone jack on one end and a power link on the other to connect my ipod/computer/etc... to a BS9000. If you can connect that to the 3000, that would work. If you're looking to connect directly to the speakers (I have a BL2 connected to 2 BL8000s), I haven't tried... but I would be willing to give it a try if

The BS 9000 is not an mp3 player :( You can play mp3s via another source using an AUX input. -R
