  • Re: Beosound Century: Wall Bracket OR Table Stand?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I think I'll attempt the last of the three solutions, as I'm not entirely handy at fashioning impromptu brackets and what not. So long as the nails will hold, I think that sounds reasonable. I might even revisit my love for Hercules Hooks (which I have been chided for before--but they've held some fantastically

  • Beosound Century: Wall Bracket OR Table Stand?

Hello all! I recently acquired a MINT Beosound Century for $100, (even though I am next to broke and preparing for a move out of state). However, it came with neither table stand nor wall bracket and currently sort of precariously balances and leans near the wall at the moment (which is a state I'd prefer not to use it in!) My question to all of

  • Re: Who made the best buy on a used Bang & Olufsen gear???

OK, how 'bout this one: Beosound Century, Type 2653, mint condition both cosmetically and functionally. $100 USD, locally off Craigslist. How's that one?! -Aaron

  • Re: B and O Bicycle?

http://www.bikeforums.net/archive/index.php/t-404459 Check it out. Found some other pictures of some other (same?) guy's "B&O bike." IF it IS real, it's a Randor-made bike, which was an inexpensive Taiwanese company. Someone mention outsourcing to China?

  • Beovox Cona

Hello again, all. Another question: Currently I have hooked up to my Beosystem 5500 two Beovox CX-100 and two Beolab 3000. I have the opportunity to pick up locally a Beovox Cona subwoofer to enhance the bass a bit (though to be quite honest, the addition of the Beolabs against my wall has caused the sound to fill out more anyway). The question is:

  • Re: B&O TV Why?

I, too, would like to add that I find Trip's comments most inappropriate and offensive. To me, it comes across with the smug delivery of a groupie trying to party VIP with the rock band but never quite approaching that level personally. So Trip, are you saying that younger, graduate school students such as myself who are just starting to become

  • Re: Good Vintage Stores in Denmark?

Thanks a bunch! I've given him those locations (bbuy, that basement store), and hopefully I'll get a shiny new (vintage) present when he comes back! . . . . and any other locals, please feel free to share your favorite local stores for a Yank who, I swear, won't keep coming back to deplete the stores of their bargain finds

  • Good Vintage Stores in Denmark?

Hello again, all! Someone with whom I'm very close is going to be spending 5 days in Copenhagen this weekend, and I've heard some of you discuss the relative ease of finding rare or interesting B&O pieces in vintage stores, thrift stores, etc. I doubt he'll be straying too far from Copenhagen (& unfortunately not to Struer -- which

  • Re: Who made the best buy on a used Bang & Olufsen gear???

OK, I've been told to contribute to this thread, and now that I have them hooked up, mounted, and confirmed to be working and looking good, I'll add my two cents. A pair of good shape (some scratches, only two minor dings) Beolab 3000s. $200, USD

  • Update on my BL3000 purchase!

After some cleaning, replacing the fabric grills (massive cat hair! ugh!), polishing, running wire channeling down my walls, etc. I just wanted to let everyone know the speakers sound and look FANTASTIC! Gorgeous sound, and they go great with my two CX100s that I have hooked up. BTW, I really don't need any brackets -- maybe a rather corny way of
