Hi Is there any way to 'fool' a MCL2AV unit into thinking there is a datalink product attached? I want to connect a non-B&O tuner to the MCL2AV and be able to select 'Tape', Aux or CD from a BL7000 and have the input open for the radio... the BL7000 doesn't appear to have the 'shift' option to open the input as 'Shift

Hi Does anybody have a schematic diagram for the MCL2AV? I just received a used one which does not work - no 12v or 5v at the regulators, and the 12v one gets very hot...

Thanks, got it. Shame they dropped Phono off the List..

Hi Beoworlders, Is there any way to operate a Phono with the Beo4 MkIII? I'm using with BC9500 and BG9500...? Steve

Hi Keith, They are homemade from microphone cable - 4 core + shield. This may sound strange, but you may recall I was having problems with the Penta 'mixing' the channels, so I made these cables to carry only one audio signal each (ie a left cable and a right cable). I think I also mentioned that one of the pins on the DIN socket was isolated

OK, just had another look and tried what you have suggested - I first listened on the passives in the MCL linked room - the hum was present at zero volume even with the Pentas in the main room muted. I then disconnected the powerlink cables at the BC9500 and the noise is gone in the linked speakers... so it is my powerlink cables, then... Hmmm. Or,

Thanks for that Peter, The Pentas do sound great by themselves, and I wouldn't really want to filter them through the Cona. What I had in mind was lowering the frequency range of the Cona by changing the crossover components, but I'm not really sure how to go about it... Regards, Steve

Yes, I think it has always been present - audible from both speakers, particularly when playing a CD loud...

Not sure whether anyone else has tried this setup - before I caught the B&O bug I loved my B&W DM220 passives. I bought my BC9500 and it had the B&O contagen so off I went and bought a Cona. I liked it. I have a thing for good design and engineering design, which probably explains my obsession with DS Citroen... (I went from Citroen mechanic

Hi Beoworlders Has anyone noticed and 'fixed' the IR interference I notice on my Beocenter 9500 when it sends a two-way IR signal? It is like this short buzz or hum and it seems only to be audible on the send cycle of the two-way IR - nothing when I hit a button on the beolink handheld, but a second later a hum from the speakers (BL Pentas)
