I agree that the TX really is an underrated deck. It is really a Beogram 6002 without the Datalink module and with a captive RCA cable, belt driven and very much like a late Beogram 4000 series deck under the hood IMO, the TX is better than the later Beogram 5005 and upards models.

The RL6000 descends from the older RedLine 60 and 60.2, though the speaker units are maginally different. The speaker membanes are made of rubber, so I don't expect them to have any tendencies to rot.
