Hello, I am the lucky owner of a now fully functioning BG 4002. But I have a small problem: When the stylus gets closer to the center, the amount of unwanted distortion increases! At the last tune on record side the sound is horrible! It even does that with all of my new 180 gram records... the stylus is an MMC20 CL which normally sounds fantastic.

Normally, the 5500 won't just shut down when it reaches a specific volume. My 5500 has the problem that it is getting/running very very hot, but it doesn't affect the sound quality and/or shuts down. I'm afraid you have to try taking it to a B&O Tech

Hello I am currently repairing my Beogram 4002, and I've found out that the cause of my main problem with speed deviation is the flip-flop relay switch. Is there anyone who wants to sel me one of theese relays?

-

Hello, I have just bought an old Beogram 8000 with a nice MMC20CL pickup for the amount of Danish money that is equal to 40 pounds . I have just sent my BG 4002 to repair because of a speed probem. I hooked the 8000 up with a "Tape 1" cable with datalink from my dad's beocord 8004, this is of course inducing some hum, but i get a "cykling"
