• Re: Pink Floyd The Wall LP
Stop trying to corner the market on BG4000s, and maybe you'll have some spare cash!
I just can't stop myself, the Beovirus was strong on the last BG4000!

The Beovox S45.2's are almost identical to the original S45's Try local ad-sites and and ad-fields in newspapers, sometimes way cheaper than online auction sites!

  • Re: Best choice: Shibata vs. Nude Line repair by Axel Schurholz

The nude line is very similar to the original MMC1/2, I like them better than my Father's original MMC2. It's hard to compare any analog source to CD but nude line has the clairity. The problem though is that it takes some time to adjust tracking weight to reduce P- and S-sound distortion (sibilance). I could live with a shibata, if my speakers

Hello Pablo, Welcome to Beoworld, we won't bite A pair of Beovox S-30/35/40/45/45.2 (all those are similar in size and capacity, the 45's are 3-way) would be a great addition to your Beocenter 4600. You will be infected by the so-called "Beovirus" when you get the system up and running; You get blood on the tooth, lusting after more
Søren if you continue this way, all Beoworlders going to Struer in May will visit you, to see your collection, on the way to Struer. Maybe you should plan a Struer warm up party.
Many of my friends have commented that I should open a museum for vintage B&O that could be a competitor to

  • Re: The Audiophile & B&O

I'm only an audiophile in the aspect of buying more equipment to try, and maybe the occational capacitor replacements. I am pretty much content with vintage and newer B&O products. Using thicker than standard speaker cable in my Beosystem 8000 which is standard cheap speaker wire.

I have bought another Beogram 4000 which needed some exercise to get working again. The panels are beautiful, removed the nicotine from the first user with a good cleaning in dishwashing soap and a brush. 3 working Beogram 4000's in the same house!

That could easily be the case my friend. I'll go through the deck for more faults and lubrication when I have the time for it

  • Re: A small Beogram 4000 problem

Hello Step1, I found out that the arm would work partially normal after some exercise of the tranport system. I think that the problem was elsewhere, in the switch-system under the platter (sensing system that tells the normal record sizes). The turntable hasn't been used for at least 20 years according to the seller, witch could put some gunk on
