It sounds like Dillen is a great asset to the vintage B&O community! Thanks again. Hi Robert, I did recently acquire a BG 8002. It seems to be in excellent cosmetic and working condition. I'll keep my fingers crossed... Aaron

I was hoping I would be able to utilize my existing cable! Thanks again for all your help, Aaron

Hello everyone, I have a Beogram 8002 that I would like to connect to a Beomaster 2400. My BG 8002 Operating Guide states that I need a cable (type 6207216) which terminates in 2 pin plugs and a separate ground lead. The only cable I have is used to connect the turntable to a Beomaster 8000 (type 6270213 - 7 pins). Any idea how I can acquire this cable

Hi everyone, Any ideas as to how I can acquire a repalcement belt for my Beocord 9000? I contacted the neareast B&O service center here in the states (they're few and far between) and they told me they no longer have parts or service the older pieces. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Aaron

Hi all, Although I'm not keen on the idea of having to send my BM 8000 to be serviced, I am encouraged by the thought that the service center I'll be sending it to was the first B&O store/service center in the U.S. (Chicago). And I've heard that their service technician is first rate. I guess time will tell.... Thanks for the replies

Hi Geoff, I tried a set of headphones with no luck. I also tried both speaker channels as well as the on/off switches and still nothing. Since I don't have much experience with technical repairs, nor the time because I'm a full time college student, it looks like my 8000 will be off to the nearest B&O service center. It sounds like you really

Thanks for the replies. Good to know that it can be mounted vertically, but still undecided as to whether I'll set it on a shelf or wall-mount it. Aaron

Hello everyone, I recently found a great deal on an assortment of vintage B&O components. One of the pieces is a cosmetically near-mint Beomaster 8000. When powering it up, everything seems to function properly (except for the center LEDs). But when connected to a pair of speakers, I get no sound. Before I set up an appointment with a B&O service

I noticed what look like slots on the back of my Beomaster 2400 that could be used for mounting it on the wall. Yet, my manual says that it should be either lying flat or slightly angled with optional feet. Is it possible to wall-mount and if so, are there any issues with doing so? Thanks, Aaron

Thanks for your advice, Martin Because I don't have experience in the way of technical repairs (and because I'm a busy college student), I don't really want to try and tear the unit apart. Since I know now that the problem must be in either the amp or the pre amp, I think my parents will take the Beomaster into the nearest B&O shop and
