Thanks Cris-offer tendered! And I grabbed one on the bay over here w/MMC-4 cart yesterday. How much is enough?

About a year ago I purchased a cartridge mounting adapter for MMC 1-5 style carts. The cartridge plugs into the adapter just like it does into a B&O TT. It has 1/2" mounting tabs, and it was reasonable-$20? maybe. It was from a provider in the US that sold LP stuff, but I can't remember who it was. Anyone? Regards, Phil

If the problem is simple mechanical (the arm lacks enough down stroke to properly track the disc), then try playing with 2 discs on. If it works OK that way, then the question is why is its vertical travel too limited. I doubt the IR diode or counter is the problem or it wouldn't find the start of the disc. Alternately you could make an "L"

I'm in dire need of a 40 pin processor for an 8002 Bang & Olufsen TT. OR the metal "can" with the processor inside- OR the m,ain circuitboard w/can mounted on it- OR a trashed unit to pillage. Less desired but OK: any of above from a 6006 or 8000. Thanks, Phil in NJ, USA

No-the tonearm cover has the normal scheme, however the black part has a much smoother/polished-looking finish to it, although the normal B&O grained aluminum below it is discernable. The juxtaposition of the 2 bright aluminum parts-one long/skinny (left/rear) and the normal one over the tonearms (right/frt)-works well to my eyes. I'm just wondering

Here are 2 images that clearly show the green tint and the bright aluminum trim. The adjacent tonearm cover is black margin as always (not "faded"), while the platter cover is aluminum margin/green plexi (vs black margin/smoked amber plexi, normal):

Yes and you too-the greenish one has brushed aluminum. The other one in the picture has the normal black finish althoufh the lighting smears the difference. I'll try to post a better picture with both 8000 covers together. Seeing with ones eyes, the difference is pretty startling. Regards, Phil PS: this table has the metal tacho disc. Did some 8000s

Have you seen ones that had brushed aluminum instead of black where the the 8000 appears?
