If I recall correctly the BeoVox Cona was initial released to fill out the sound of the then BeoVox Bookshelf speakers, that being the C30/40/75 & CX50/100 speakers which were connected inline thus your passive amp was connected directly to Cona itself via the two seperate corresponding IN (L and R) connection on the bottom and then each bookshelf

I can't say for sure, seeing that I don't own a BeoCom 6000 but from what I have seen in the specs as well as listed on the products page of BeoWorld you should be able to adjust the volume of your Bang & Olufsen audio and video products directly from your handset. Would it be possible to use a HDR2 in the United States? Other then the issue of the Power input possibly needing to be changed or a converter being used. Very Curious, Hiller

Still using a BeoSystem 1 for I believe 3+ years now, with my BeoVision 4-50! Run my DirecTV and PS3 through it at 1080i via a Zektor switch. Main room setup includes BeoLab 1, BeoLab 6000, BeoVox Cona & BeoSound 9000!

My current setup is both a BeoSystem 1, BV4-50 and BeoSound 9000 in the same room with all speakers connected to the BS1 (Beolab 1 & Beolab 6000). walla210, Welcome to the B&O community! As you may already know the BS1 supports 480p and 1080i scanning formats. The only connection that supports 1080i resolution as input is the Top Panel component DTV IN.
