  • Re: Beomedia 1

Emmanuel92, Appreciate the response! I did get the BeoMedia connected using the S-Video via V.Aux and connect via ML, I had both S-Video and Composite but it seems that only the S-Video cable really matters as when the composite is left off it displays the BM1 Interface and the Service Mode with only the S-Video cable. Here's the interesting thing

  • Re: Beomedia 1 Connection / IR

hfat, By your comment "if your BS1 knows "PC"-Sources" do you mean that when I go into the TV Setup menu and then under External Sources to let the BS1 know what device I have connected! With the current CDDB version 4.7g I belive is what is installed on my BS1 there is no listing for PC anything when I scroll through the various

  • Re: BV4-50 & BS1 Issue

kinban, That SilverSerpant VGA breakout cable that I purchased is what final did the trick for me. Seems that the first cable I got locally wasn't configured properly for RGB output. As for that Data cable as well as the Data port on the BS1 itself they are listed as follows in the Service Manual: p/n #6270808 RS 232 cable (may not be the current

  • Re: Beomedia 1 - how to switch off the TV Screen (Beovision 4/Beosystem 2)

What version of the Beo4 software must be present before [P.MUTE] shows up as an available option under ADD? What would the cost be in order to upgarde ones Beo4 software in order to get that functionality? I have tried several times to locate [P.MUTE] without any luck. It would be so nice to turn off the BV4-50 while I am listen to my BeoSound 9000

  • Re: Link Room speaker problem

I believe that has to do with the Option settings, but couldn't say for sure. Option 6 : Used in a setup with the main system in one room, and the link room setup in another is the Factory Default setting for the BeoLink Wireless 1. According to the User Manual it list Option 5: Used if you set up a Bang & Olufsen television in the link room

  • Re: Picture in Picture on Beo5

Diggs, Page 14, See two sources simultaneously, of the BeoSystem 1 User Guide explains a little. Picture-in-Picture When Picture-in-Picture is switched on and a TV or Satellite source is shown in the small window on the screen, you can change channels for that source. If VCR is selected in the window, then you can play, cue or wind the cassette. While

  • Re: Beosystem 1 surround options

AS for checking out/verifying the SW version on your BeoSystem 1 you will need it to be connected to a display then you would enter the main TV SETUP menu by pressing 0 0 GO within 3 seconds on your Beo4 remote. Once the Service Menu is displsyed select '3' - US BOX then '1' - US BOX INFORMATION Your display should now look something

  • Re: Beosystem 1 surround options

You don't choose the option, it all depends on the source material that is feed into the BeoSystem 1, from their the Black Box does the magic itself on the fly. Specifics that I have noticed per the source Music off a CD / AAC / MP3 - Dolby Pro Logic is displayed Dolby Digital 2-Channel / Dolby Digital Multi-Channel Source - Dolby Digital is displayed

  • Re: Beovox Cona - Installation Help

Yup those photos that you have posted are that of the infamous "DTS box" Yes you do need to place either a BeoLink Passive or a MCL2P inbetween the 'DTS box' and the Cona! Not sure exactly how the Ohms will effect the overall sound of you RL 60.2! Seeing that from the Product specs of each item both the BeoLink Passive and the BeoVox
