Ik heb een oude beomaster 2400 of 2400-2 staan. Tot voor kort speelde hij nog prima. Tijdens een feestje heeft iemand een vlag/lap stof over de versterker gelegd. Waarschijnlijk is de versterker toen, bij gebrek aan ventilatie, oververhit geraakt. Als je hem nu aanzet gaat hij direct uit. Ook is een deel van de plastic ventilatiecover een beetje krom

I have an B&O avant DVD. I have connected two extra Penta's (speakers). They are plugged in on the front speaker jackets of the avant. Every time I switch on the TV for watchting TV the speakers are being activated automatic. The speakers are standing in an other part of the room. is het mogelijk om een gewone hifi eindversterker aan te sluiten op een B&O avant zodat je daarmee normale passive speakers kunt aansturen? De line out voltage van de speaker uitgang van de avant is die gelijk aan de spanning van een normale voorversterker?

I have heard different views on the sound. But to honest a good pair of 8000 you can buy second hand for < 2K. The beolabs 3 are > 3K :-) and is the difference a value of > 1K ? but have you heard about upgrade possibilities (different speaker or tecnical)

I now have beolab 4000's connected to my B&O avant. At the moment I'm not satisfied with the sound quality of my current B&O set. I used to have penta's (passive). Buying active penta's is not an option. My wife now wants something else in the room :-( and I like a good sound. So I'm either thinking of buying beolab 8000's

I have recently replaced the mid-speakers in my passive B&O penta's. I still have the feeling that there can be achieved more to let the penta become/stay a high end speaker.
