i am a fan on the lintronic too but how well does the Beo4 function with Non B&O set-top boxes and those with PVR's. I was under the impression that all their functions would work with Beo4 as long as they were in the list of supported units in hte software of hte TV but is this right?

I'm finally going to get a settop box to recieve SD signals for my BV6-22. But i'm wondering if I should get a software upgrade for my TV or use my lintronic to operate the set-top box. I plan to get one of those with a digitial harddrive and perhaps a DVD too so i only have one box rather than a stack. Are the ST boxes and all functions of

i've seen #2 on ebay (the AM aerial) on occasion although not going cheaply i got my #3 (the cover) from Lifestlye AV for a good price and was very glad to have the cable mess fixed up

this used to drive me crazy too, especially when watching DVD's. I don't know if there is a B&O solution but i programmed my Lintronic device to send the correct Format code through whenever i pressed DVD on the beo4. This solved the problem in a round about way but it works!

As a coincidence I actually upgraded to gold just a few hours ago in order to show my support for the site. I've had so many great tips from beoworlders both from the current site and the old site where i was a paid up member of the connosiuers club for a while.

Has anyone had any experience with BV contrast screens/ coatings deteriorating with time or through cleaning with the wrong product. Does the anti-reflection ability slowly get worse and worse?

i have another question about my MX4000 the tv came fitted with the standard bar type stand but also a seperate motorised which i naturally want to fit but have a few q's before i start 1. the screws holding the bar stand look special, do i need a special too to remove theml? 2. how do i handle the tv when swapping stands? Is there a special technique
