I totally hear you fellow Finlander. As for an example, few weeks ago some guy was selling BG1203 "as new" with no description and with only 1 photo. I got no response when i asked for further information and photos. The auction ended up 150e. I didn't bid btw. ;)

Hello, I spotted BG4004 on sale with a couple of problems. The deck doesn't start up always with first press on PLAY (or is it START), but claimed that second press will do it. The other problem is that the tonearm doesn't rise up from the record fast enough after the playing. As these decks doesn't show up too often on sale here in finland

Despite the cosmetical notes mentioned i'd like to suggest you could maybe try to spread the speakers a bit more because now i think the speakers' sonic dispersion will cross with each other and the effect you'll get is called "comb filtering" which will cut down some frequencies and thus delete some parts of the sound.
