Hi, As I see it you need an Audio Master that is N.MUSIC capable. Ouverture can not be used as an Audio Master.

When LinkPlayer is running I cannot put my Mac to Sleep. I have to quit LinkPlayer first before putting the Mac to sleep. Can someone else confirm that this is the case? I guess this is not an appropriate behaviour then.

I have also tried to set System Preferences in 32-bit mode. I agree that its a bit more stable. BM-link starts - but sometimes it just shuts down when operating the BEO4. All in all I consider BM-link to be broken by Snow Leopard.

I did also update last night. I find BM-Link even more unstable now. Cannot start up the application from the System Preferences. Did you re-install BM-Link after the update? I did not. A question: Almost everytime I startup my Mac (BM-Link launches at startup) I have to stop and start BM-link to turn on the sound. My speakers turn on but without sound

The Beocenter 6 cannot act as an Audio Master for a Beoport. I was told that it was possible before I bought my Beocenter 6 but had to get an Beosound 3000 as a Master afterward.

Just because its based on XP-embedded does not mean that it should be compared with a traditional PC. Compare it to a PC when it comes to extensibility. Other than that its just another piece of electronic equipment. With respect to stability: XP-embedded is a very stable platform - and unstability in a traditional XP pc usually comes from installed

If this is true its absolutely great! This means very good opportunities to "hack" the unit and make it even better. Think about the AppleTV. This is actually what makes this a nice unit.

Will the same apply for the Beosound 3000?

Hej, Er der nogen der ved om B&O STB controller kan styre en Dreambox? Jeg har et Beocenter 6-26. Eventuelt nogle som har erfaringer med andre muligheder? Mvh Anders

Hi, Excuse me for my ignorance but what can be achieved with this solution? As I read it I can connect som third-party equipment to the Beolink Active. Can the audio for this source then be distributed on the Masterlink? Thanks in advance. Regards, Anders
