  • Re: BS3000 problem

Thanks Opman, I'd checked that and just double checked and all buttons are fine. Following the service manual, by pressing "sound 0258" I've gone into testmode and that booted up fine and I could read through all the TM codes but it goes into standby after 3 minutes. You're supposed to be able to key in <<11111 when prompted

Reading the service manual, if it was the pin that was required it would ask for it? I have never set a pin but it could be that trying to congigure it to the iphone i/r codes the gear4 unity remote has accidentally locked it up. I'll try the 5 digit service code when i get home and if that works i'll apply to B&O for a mastercode to unlock

  • BS3000 problem

Not sure what's happened but I have a bit of a problem. I have a red standby light on the BS3000 and doors open but no buttons are working apart from the load cd button. Beo4 has no effect on the system at all. When I check the option and press red button/list scroll to option/go scroll to A.OPT & press 1, I get a blink on the BS3000 but still

  • Beosound 1 & powerlink cable

I had the bright idea of using my beosound 1 as an extra link speaker and connected it to my Beosound 3000 via the AUX socket. Of course nothing happened and Chris from B & O Brighton suggested reversing 2 wires in the powerlink cable terminal, which they did for me FOC and all was perfect. I then pulled the 20 mtr cable all through my house and

  • Beolink 5000 - Beosound 3000

I've picked up a beolink 5000 remote with a beosystem 2500, the remote works fine with the 2500 but does not work with my Beosound 3000!! Does anyone know if they are not compatible. Also, I had the BS3000 playing through my Avant tv which is now gone. I now have some beolab 6000's connected to the BS3000 but the system must be set to just play
