hi there i have used silver polish on the acrylic penta bases to great effect - silver polish tends to have finer grain size than most other metal polishes - another alternative might be jewellers rouge although don't know how to acquire it salut a la france tony s

hi there i have just recently repaired(refoamed) some penta driver units - mine were all sticky gooey etc - got it off the frame using a chisel ended screwdriver just scraping away when as much as possible removed i used cotton wooln buds soaked in meths - a messy process but it cleaned the base back perfectly# the cone edge was also cleaned using meths

hi seen something which might work on the maplin(.co.uk or.com) site about £30 but it has an amp built in to prevent signal losses also i recall a similar piece which had a remote to select or more recently an auto one - if near an outlet you can buy, try and return if no good! might be worth a look! salut a la france tony s

hi all just to add some info - i used cable from maplin (uk supposed electronics shop - now toys etc) with great effect on various speaker systems -n a cleaner crisper sound to my jaded ears - details Oxygen free(i think) by Eagle label details - Speaker cable - High quality - 2 core - extra flexible - flat profile - 1.0mmx2 x 126/0.1mm ref E635 this

hi all a little country cottage ish but i have mine on an Ercol TV video cupboard about 90x60x40high - fold down door to revea;l a sliding tray - i used ikea trays to hold cd's have a photo somewhere it may be in uk - i'm now en france! http://www.ercol.com/2094-p-WO.html not quite the same as mine - obviously been superceded salut tony

hi i used a std 5 pin din to 5 pin din plug lead i get sound out of the beocentre when using the tape 2 socket and the tape 2 selector/also on aux but have not tried to get the tv to produce sound from the beocentre i just wanted a better sound when watching dvd's etc hope thius helps salut tony s

hi all anyone out there got the above stand they would like to get rid off - i am looking to mount my mother's tv to make it more handleable - advancing years you know! anything considered!
