I have a BV9 in the living room and a BV10-40 fitted to the wall in the bedroom. I chose the BV10 for space economy. For picture and sound quality I would opt for the BV9 anytime. Martin

I think the Tangent box isn't Jacob Jensens best work, but ist is far better than the BS8. I have seen the BS8 in flesh and it is outright ugly. Martin

I got the update today. it fixed the modulator bug introduced in fw 9.01. In fw 9.01 the modulator didn't switch on when a video source was selected in a link room with a BeoLink Active. msinn

I just decided to go for a pair of BeoLab 4 mounted to the ceiling and match the color of the coviering to the colors used in the kitchen. msinn

David, your music taste is fine. Just get yourself some decent CDs. My experiance is, that older CDs have a better chance of being decently produced. msinn

You have to connect both (audio and video) to the same AV. Otherwise you will get only sound or picture, depending on the AV input you select on your BV9. Either build an adapter to use the scart connector on AV3 or connect audio and video to AV4.

Phil, I prefer not to use a BeoLink Active for that purpose. I have a link room with a non B&O tv and a BeoLink Active. This room conflicts with audio usage of other link rooms at the same time. Hi, I have a BeoLink Video and a spare IR eye (from a BeoLink Active). Now I want to add the IR eye to control the Link output of the main room tv. I might be mistaken, but I think the SW 1.3 is for the BeoLink 1616 only. When I ordered two BeoLink Active a couple of weeks ago, they were delivered to my dealer with SW 1.1 and had to be returned because I asked for the newest software.
