I have my BV10 wall mounted on a solid 20cm thick brick wall. The sound is better wall mounted IMHO.

ICE power? For what? The crappy inbuilt speaker?

I would not use my BV10 as a stereo system. It's good for a flat TV, but nothing spectacular. I suggest you listen to it before you make up your mind.

I have a TC electronics Impact Twin external sound card on my Mac Mini, connected via firewire, and uses the Core Audio in Mac OS. Silent wire MK5 digital coaxials from the soundcard to Beolab 5's. Just for the good looks.

I wouldn't worry. I've cleaned my BV10 screen several times.

I would also knowing what I do now have gone the Loewe way. Bought a BV10 about 1,5 years ago, it's OK, but not much more. Not worth the price. I won't be changing TV for many years though.
