Without knowing what it exactly does, it is hard to say - but generally having several devices in a chain doing something to the picture is not a good idea. The BS3 is probably better at it anyway!

Thanks for checking Rich, I'll just settle with the CD then (and keep kicking myself that I didn't bother getting me a ticket when he was in Helsinki last summer for the first time ever - after cancelling numerous times over and over ever since the '80s)
