Finally! This will now make it easy to manage all of the music in just one music library so we don't have to mess with WMA Lossless or FLAC. It only makes sense for B&O to add Apple Lossless ripping to it's forthcoming ripping drive as well. B&O needs to make adopting Apple Lossless a high priority. I'm also hoping that the iTunes

I agree. Further, my understanding is that its only function is for ripping and not for playback of CDs. If that's the case, the ugly thing should be hidden away with the Beomaster 5 instead of detracting from the "floating" beauty of the BeoSound 5.
It is intended

Still, I'm intrigued by the "cd" icon on the bottom left of the BeoSound 5 screen. Is it possible that the rumors of cd-ripping-only were wrong and this could add a "CD" playback function to the BeoSound 5? That would be nice if we could have the CD, with the n.music assigned to "A.MEM" and a Beogram turntable connected

At first, I encountered the same problem. I found that simply rebooting the mac after all the new updates solved the problem.

The video setup of the PS3 can be rather tricky as it requires a rather quick confirmation that the display is received. I've found it's best to connect it first to a (non-B&O) tv to configure the video settings before connecting it to the b&o tv or BeoSystem.

Is the BV8 HDMI 1.3? If not, you won't get a 3D signal passed to the projector. HDMI splitters will force the signal down to the lowest common denomenator of HDMI version. For example, I tried using a splitter to connect my PS3 to my BeoSystem 3 for sound and my 3D tv for 3D video. It won't work. Since the BeoSystem 3 is only HDMI 1.1, the PS3

I've heard that an add-on CD ripping drive is in the works. No CD playback. Only for CD ripping directly to the BeoMaster 5.
