  • Re: Beosystem 3 issues

not sure how it is over the pond but in the US I believe (it's been a while since I was in deep with the BC2) you have to have a control IR cable connected to the IR in on both the BC2 and BS3 and labeled accorrdingly in the BS3. Then you will get your video commands transfered when you push the DVD button. ML will carry the audio commands for the

  • Re: BeoSystem 3 and Apple TV 2

This may sound crazy but my guess is you are using hdmi 1.3v or lower cables. If you have a the most recent ATV2 update it seems to induce a handshake error on certain screens. A couple clients have had all working but then would not be able to watch say Netflix or a purchased itunes movie... the whole time being able to see the itunes menu and operate

  • Re: Beolab 5 disappointed

Never have I had a complaint about the BL5 lacking bass. Never. I would check the setup and configuration with the dealer. Also ask the dealer to calibrate them while in the shop, it takes but a few minutes.

  • Re: Bv7 bluray problem

Sounds like you need a front end update on your Blu-Ray player in your BV7. Additionally, a back-end update may cure the problem as well depending on the software you are running currently.

  • Re: New Software!

B&O accidentally put the update on the server which sends it out. Some of you may have gotten the update some of you may haven't. If you haven't it is for the better as the new update was purely a test version not meant for final use and has problems all over the place. If you have gotten it you will need to restore your BM5 then update

  • Re: ...the real red bargain.... ;-)

I love how he starts out saying that it was used infrequently and that it is in near new condition...... since it was never used it would make sense to replace the tube right..... :)

  • Re: Connecting Beolab 3's to non B&O equipment

You are looking for a Powerlink to RCA cable. As the the description implies it consist of a powerlink connection on one end which would go to the back of the BeoLab 3's and the other side would be a male RCA connection, which would be ready for most all preamp/monitor connections. It is not a Y connection so you would need two. As far as preamp's

Pics of the final product. I first tried a solid color but you could still see the dents and knicks in the front of the grill. I then decided to do a graffiti theme on it since it will go in my garage. All lacquer black, red, silver, spray finishes with some accents of gloss regular black and white. Finished with clear coat. Sorry for the poor pic as
