    Thanks for your reply! No, the connection wasn't a DIN, it was a 3,5 mm jack plug. I will try to solder a standard XLR connector. Shield to pin 1, red "hot" to pin 2, black "cold" to pin 3. I hope it works!

  • How to solder the connector for a B&O mic?

    Hi, I have recently purchased a BEOMIC 2000 from Bang & Olufsen. But I don't know how to solder the connector. The mic came with the original connector unsoldered, a standard guitar connector with only two terminations. But as you can see on the picture the cable has two cords and a shield. Does anyone know how to solder them? Can I connect

  • Hur löda kontakten till Beomic 2000?

    Jag köpte nyss en BEOMIC 2000 på eBay. Orginalkontakten följde med men var inte fast lödad. Det är en vanlig gitarr-kontakt med enbart två anslutningar medans kabeln innehåller två ledare samt jordhölje (se bild). Hur ska denna lödas? Kan man byta ut orginalkontakten mot en XLR-kontakt? Tack!
