  • Re: Request for help accessing audiomaster sources with BeoPort and BM-Link

Philippe, thanks for your reply, in fact installing LinkPlayer is on my to-do list - it's excellent to know that it will fix the problem. I'll post back when I've done it Regards Michael

Peter, thanks for the quick reply. It's a shame, but at least I now know that it's not just me. Many thanks, M

  • Request for help accessing audiomaster sources with BeoPort and BM-Link

Hi All I am looking for a bit of help. I am running BM-Link with OSX Leopard and ITunes 8. I haven't upgraded yet to Snow Leopard, the latest BM-Link or iTunes9 because the current setup all fully works (I hope to upgrade soon) and until the newest version of BM-Link arrived from Anders for Snow Leopard some functionality was lost under iTunes9

  • BM-Link and iTunes 7.5.x

Hi everyone Can anyone help with a compatibility question? I am running BM-Link with OSX10.5 and iTunes 7.5. I am NOT running Anders' latest version of BM-Link (just released in May), but the previous version. Everything works fine, but I am afraid to upgrade iTunes to the latest version as I read somewhere that it is not compatible. I'd like

  • Re: Accessing BM-Link scripts, and use of new version (1.5.2)

Anders, thanks for your very quick reply and the help. The Front Row script is what I am keen to see as that is what I would learn most from, I think. If you have time, you might be able to answer one further question - why will the Front Row support only work if you use an eye connected directly to the BeoPort whereas the N.MUSIC and N.RADIO support

  • Accessing BM-Link scripts, and use of new version (1.5.2)

Hi everyone. I am currently running Leopard and BM-Link 1.5 (firmware 1.30) on an iMac, everything works fine for me (though I have stuck to iTunes version 7.6 because i've read that there are issues if you go to 7.6.2), except that I can't control Front Row directly from my Beo4 because none of my IR eyes are connected directly to the BeoPort

  • Re: Missing / intermittently available sources in BeoPort

Keith, problem solved, I think. I tested the various links with a reliable ML cable, bypassing the various connectors and devices, but could not locate the problem. So then I went back to your second suggestion, ie that the ML might be locked up software-wise. This proved to be the problem...I found that I had forgotten to suspend the BM-Link software

  • Re: Missing / intermittently available sources in BeoPort

Keith, many thanks for such a fast reply. I really appreciate it. I have tried powering down the system and then up again, but without success. However, your advice plus some other posts I have read suggests a number of other things I can check related to my masterlink cabling. My system has grown bit by bit over time and I've got a bit of a mixture

  • Missing / intermittently available sources in BeoPort

Hi everyone, has anyone seen a problem like the following before? I recently bought the BeoPort kit and installed it successfully connected to / running on my iMac (running OSX Leopard) on Windows XP running on a Parallels Virtual Machine (I also have it working directly with iTunes on 'native' OSX using Anders Odlund's BM-Link software
