  • Re: Why beogram 4000 may be the best sounding tangential tracking beogram............

Hi there, Sorry for the late post on this thread. The Beogram 4000 is by all accounts the "dream table" as others will confer here. It encompasses everything that Jacob Jensen wanted a table to become when he designed it. I have three 4002's, & one 4000 which was HARD to find. I found it on E-Bay from some seller in NYC & it came

  • Re: Beogram 4000 - how much is it worth?

Hi there, hope it all works out well for you. The Beogram 4000 is probably my favourite table in the universe. The Beogram 4002 being a very close second. Cheers! Duncan

  • Re: New Panasonic 85" plasma, will it come to B&O?

Size must be one of those relative things. I have a Sony 27" crt Trinitron that produces a picture that I always thought was remarkably good. I think I only paid $350 U.S. for it brand new. I've never felt a desire to get rid of it actually, my brother has a 42" flat panel & I always thought it was way out there size wise but I'm

  • Re: beogram 4000 issue

Hi Peter, where on earth does one find one of those?? How many have you actually seen in the flesh in a manner of speaking? I've never seen one yet but I bet it's very nice indeed! I bet it was a table that was more widely distributed throughout Europe. Cheers, Duncan

Hi there, I wanted to add my remarks about the Beogram 4000. I have one that I'm currently restoring & I'm being very patient with it. Finding one that is "perfect" is a daunting task! I'm in California & quite truly I hardly ever see Beogram 4000's come up for sale. You have a few more over in Europe, therefore if

Hi Peter! Great information! You're a walking encyclopedia. After looking at the photos of the original poster, I had a quick check & found the little plastic rectangular cover doohicky missing unfortunately. Maybe I can pester Frede for one if he has one floating around. What are the six little wheels underneath them for??? The front panel

  • Re: Beomaster 4400 power on "kick"

Hi, I just received a Beomaster 4400 from an E-Bay auction here in the United States. Peter warned me awhile back about caps that might need to be replaced & the difficulty in getting inside of the unit. Is it quite tricky to actually get inside? I also don't have an owners manual for the unit & for the life of me I can't figure out

Frede, You must be some special type of artist to be able to do such things. Excellent news. Duncan

  • Re: Should it Stay or Should it go?

John, I'd hang onto the BG4002 as they're getting older & probably more difficult to find super sqeaky clean ones. I see plenty of them on E-Bay, along with BG4004's but they sure do seem pretty beat to crap most of the time & usually sold by some folks that aren't too knowledgeable about what they're selling. I'm always

  • Re: Beogram 3000 / Thorens TD 124 - Product of the year 2008

That's a really nicely written article. I've often thought on more than a few occasions that the hightwater mark for stereo equipment was the 1970's in general. It's nice to read about things that were made properly the first time & have an enduring quality. They say we live in an age of disposable everything, & that we need
