    wow i have had the exact same problem with my beosound 1 and i was going to send it in for repair today...untill i read this post. i just used a cotton bud and it works just fine now thanks!!!!!

    i have the beolab 4000's. i just don't know if i should buy this brand new or from lifestyle av. the only local dealers i can find here seem to sell second hand items not brand new...

  • Beolab 4000 Gold cover

    I have recently gone from green beolab 4000's to gold. I bought new alluminum covers off ebay for 170 euros which was a steal the b&o service center wanted 550. Anyway the covers arrived yesterday and one of the bottom/top covers has a scratch on it that i find annoying seeing as that these are new. I don't want to order a new cover from

    ok then i will try it but you guys mentioned it can be scary!! so i didn't want to take the risk...another question...how do i attach the new bottom and top covers?? are they like stickers?? how do i upgarde my member ship here to read the instructions?? thanks!!

    you see when i talked to the B&O technician he told me that only the bottom parts are a problem because they are connected to the amplifier.....

    hi thanks for the replies...i don't care if i wreck the bottom and top parts because they are already scratched. The original color of the speakers was green...but i bought all new covers in gold. so i will have to glue the top and bottom and covers now? i dont know if the B&O service center will attach them for me because i did not buy the

    I have bought new alluminum covers for my beolab 4000's and was wondering if it's easy to change them on my own...or do i need to take them to a B&O service center.i have heard that the bottom covers are difficult to remove...thanks

    i am going to stick with the green actually i think it's really nice. i ordered the bottom and top covers becauae they had some scratches. 200 euros. I really like the red , gold and blue 4000's
