I am currently working on a pair of Redline 45.2 speakers. The on of them sounds fine but the other sounds like crap. When I opened them I noticed that the bass unit wass replaced by another (not B&O) in the one sounding like crap. Is it possible to get replacement units for those speakers anywhere? If so should i replace them in both speakers?

The Built in IR recievers in laptops are for transfers of files rather than remote control. Those recievers are only for short range and it will probably not be usable for remote controlling the system. I don't know about the BEO5 and xmbc
