Doesn't seem to help om the start up time on my BV8 40. It still takes arround 32 seconds from i press TV till i get the curtains rolling to the side. In comparison DVD takes arround 20 seconds. I'm not sure if the update was correctly installed. I put the USB key in an turned on the TV and got a yellow screen for a while. Then a little later

If I do remember it right you just remove the 4 screws (2 in each cover) in ther corners on the back an then you can slide the cover frames off. Very easy

I have been checking up on all my electrical equipments standby power usage. The one with the highest was my BM3500 with af standby power of 8W wich I think is rather high compared to my other gear. I was wondering if anybody knew a way to lower that. Would it for example be possible to change the power supply to something else and thereby achive this

Hi I had a similar problem for a while where it wouldn't respond to the source buttons though there was light in them. But when I activated them with the remote the other functions worked. But it was temporary and sometimes they did work. I am not sure what fixed it, but after a while the problem stopped, but around the same time I had a problem

2 Zonos ZP 80 for multiroom audio. One in the bedroom conencted to a BM 3500 and one in the living room conencted to a BS Centry. Mac Min with Plex connected to BV8 in the living room for wieving all my movies stored on a NAS. Ipod touch (mostly for control of the Sonos system) and Ipod Nano. I Guees thats about it

Press the programming button. the the buttons store and goto will appear in the display. Press goto to start the tuning and use the arrows to go up or down in frequency. To store a program press store, the wanted channel number and store again. The manual only mention that you can mute the speaker 1 output. THe speaker 2 output is for MCL connections

Stefan is right exit is the substitue for menu. Probably because you stille have to use the menu button on the TV for the setup menus

What you are describing should do it. Have you checked that the Infrared extender is placed over the infrared eye on the mac? Its the black spot next to the DVD drive (not sure if that is right for the current 2010 model). Also it only work in software that supports the apple remote for example frontrow

Thank you for the answers. Now I'm not as confused as before. If I am going to buy the they are going to be the back speakers in a sorround setup. Not sure what I will use for front speakers yet.
