  • Re: BeoVision 12-65

If u speak to a good dealer the products have largely been upgradable anyway. Obviously anything with a Beosystem 2 or 3 - especially the 3 - is easily upgraded with a new panel, but in addition to that we have done loads of upgrades of BV4 and BV5 from non HD to HD panels, including adding 2 HD inputs to the Bsys2 based ones. We almost always upgrade

  • Re: SPDIF from BeoMaster 5 to BeoVision 7-40 (Mk IV)

Hi Mikael, You'll need to connect the SPDIF from the BeoMaster 5 to an AV input on the BeoVision 7, and then set a connection in the menu - i.e. connect the SPDIF to AV5 and set up AV5 as PC. Also in the connections menu you will have to tell the BV7 that AV5 has a SPDIF input. Then, when you select PC, the BV7 will use the SPDIF from your BeoMaster

  • Re: Problem with Beovision 7 mk 3 and Sky HD and link TV's

Hi Paul, I don't have a solution but you are not alone - I have been having this problem since my BV7-40 Mk3 software was upgraded to the latest version last week. If I get a solution I will post it here for you! Cheers, Martin

  • Re: BV7 40 MKIII / SW 4.24 problem

I've got a Mk3 BV7-40 which was recently updated to software 4.24. I have also experienced the TV switching off - about 3 times since the update 2 months ago, so not a massive problem for me but obviously now I know I am not the only one it needs sorting out in time. (I wouldn't want anyone cutting their holidays short though - that's just

  • Software updates - should I have to pay?

I have read the post on 4.24a software update for BV7-40Mk3 to allow support for 24p with great interest, and contacted my dealer to arrange this for my set. They advised me that they would come back to me with suggested dates and the cost? I had assumed as the TV is less than a year old that the software updates would be free - does anyone else have

  • Re: News - BeoMedia terminated

No, not kidding - it is an official news release to the UK dealers. I have a BM myself so I am as keen as you are to know that it will continue to be developed. When it was launched there was much talk of continuous development, great potential etc etc - so I too am hoping that BS5 will contain the equivalent of BM inside, and that updates will be equally

  • Re: Fixing a "cut" at the surface of the base of Beosound 1 floor stand?

Hi Rudy, Look underneath the stand - I seem to remember that there is a screw to hold the shaft in place. Remove the screw and then unscrew the shaft from the stand base by turing the shaft anticlockwise. From there you need to prise off the base plate - but don't do it until you have your new one as there is no turning back!!! The base plate (silver

  • Re: Beovision 8 in white

No change in price from the Black version. Only the 32" will be available in White - 26" to remain black for the time being. Silver stand will be available with the White version. (Or black from now on!) Martin
