12-65 isn't a protruding speaker, or a very thin tv although it's as thin as any tv of this type should be IMHO, Moxxey is right, a tv that is very very thin doesn't really suit the B&O range of super picture & super sound. I for one would not be interested in a wafer thin tv - that's just basically a panel with a plug on the

Ha, sounds like a good sales person indeed! No in my opinion there genuinely is a big improvement - I actually came across it almost by accident when we commented about how amazing a particular pair of 8000's sounded in the showroom. They were 8002's and this was the first time I had really paid them any attention - having assumed due to the

Thanks for the compliments! It is on a motorised wall bracket available from www.stbbrackets.co.uk , installed by Bang & Olufsen of Newcastle, UK. Here is a pic of the rear as requested.

Last time we upgraded a BV5 from non HD to HD we just updated the panel inside the Bv5 to a new HD Panasonic panel, perfect results, 2 HD inputs to the screen, worked exactly as it used to. Cost was just under £1900. Customer was very happy with his nicely upgraded B&O product.

My guess would be the new 65"

Hi Tod, I would think that the demo model had probably been on display since before the cover change. Every one of our white covers on display had that problem but now they have been replaced they seem fine. Mine's a 10-46 in my main living room, it has been used every day for a year and looks perfect. Really happy with it.

It was an issue with the early models, since then the cloth type has been changed so there are no problems now. I have a white fret which is a year old now, shows no marks and looks fantastic. If you have a white fret showing magnets you can get a replacement if your tv is under warranty.
