Hi, Have you just tried adding A.Netmusic to your Beo4? this will keep the screen off but will call up netmusic through the attached speakers. You can then either step through the music using the beo4 or go to the BeoSound 5 control and manually change it using it's full nav. This should work unless I have missed something. Vinnie.

Hi, worry not! The HDR2 does NOT have a PIN number. I am unsure as to why they have mentioned a pin on the invoice tho. You can check to see that the seriel number matches the HDR2 (back of the unit), it may simply be an error on the invoice or for another product. Just thinking, did you buy it second hand or from a dealer? If second hand, this PIN

Also just realised that it wont let you name AV4 as anything else than PC so you will have to use that as it's name. To add PC to your Beo4 - Press Standbye and list together at the same time, use up/down arrow until add appears in the window, press Go and scroll through until PC is in the window then press GO. PC will now be on your list button

Hi, I know it sounds a little stupid but B&O can be slightly unusual with connections sometimes, have you tried plugging the red and white audio cables into a scart adapter (the ones that allow you to input the red, white and yellow) and then plugging this into the assigned input that you have selected for the dvi input. It wont give you digital

A little off topic but B&O have just released new STB-C chips for the Avant and some of the older tv's. The chips now include up to date set top box lists and including Apple TV. Thought you may like to know after reading the thread.

I would not worry about your terrestrial signal, that will be switched off soon enough anyway. Has your place in London got a digital aerial? I know you can pick up most digital channels using a basic analogue aerial, but the digital signal does not suffer from shadowing from buildings like the analogue signal so getting a digital aerial should improve

I dont think this box is available on the STB table, even the most up to date table. You couls always check with your dealer tho, there maybe a new one.
-
Yeah that sounds much better. As you say the laptop solution will work, not sure what they charge for the service tho. Would be good to get the apple tv etc and other boxes that might come into use at a later date, PS3 and Sky HD box just in case you switch at any point. Easy for them to add loads of different boxes and only takes minutes to upload

Just checked and Homechoice PVR is on the STB list 3.91 version. You should be able to control it with that but may require a new chip. Check to see what STB control is in your tv.
