Moxxey's point of view is really the only one that will allow you to participate in internet forums without wanting to tear your head off. The reality is that an enthusiast site, by nature, is going to be populated by passionate people, all of whom feel they have some personal stake in the machinations of the product or brand of said forum. It doesn't

Didn't you hear? Paul loves his Mini! I also don't know where he heard it was a mono speaker. In three pages I've seen very little correct information.

If you have a personal WiFi hot-spot device, you can use the AirPlay feature. I can't speak to using the iPhone itself, but I would imagine it would work the same.

It will be a lovely valentine. Or perhaps a treat for the Easter basket. Or... Trick or Treat!

  • Re: Beosound 2 Louis vuitton case

No feedback other than the liklihood of this being a fake has to be astronomically slim. What a strange and useless thing to rip off. In all my years as a BeoSound 2 fan I never actually saw one in person so who knows why it won't seat properly.

  • Re: So maybe now they'll support ALAC...

That's really my point. I'm not making excuses, but rather wondering if the progression of features on certain platforms isn't, to some extent, out of their hands? That would make the situation worse, not better, in my opinion. If they're in control, then they can add features as they see fit. The fact that other devices in the brand

This may be a seperate discussion altogether, but: It seems to me that B&O are not driving their own bus on this stuff. Many features seem to be dependant on the standards (UPnP, AirPlay, DLNA, etc.) that B&O adopt and less so on their own ideal set of features and capabilities. I wonder if things like gapless playback are somehow dependant

  • Re: Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 4-42 Plasma help

To be honest, it's not worth picking this up unless you use the BeoSystem 1. The BeoVision 4 is just a monitor. The BeoSystem 1 has some limitations, primarily in connecting HD sources like Apple TV, but it's not that bad a unit. Similar to most other gear from 5-10 years ago. Basically if you don't get the BeoSystem 1, there's nothing
