• Re: BS5 supports Apple Lossless

I think it would be funny if they reduced the gaps without eliminating them.

  • Re: Macworld Review Beolit 12: 4 out of five

It's not even close to the BeoSound 8. A close friend bought it and I've spent many nights listening to it. It's a huge disappointment because it doesn't really live up to the B&W reputation which, I feel, is very good. Having true high-end competitors is a good thing when the market is so sparse. Certainly people consider it to
what happens when the Encore and a video source output simultaneously?
Total protonic reversal.

  • Re: Beosound 5 Encore is here...

When I first saw the BeoSound 5 Encore as an operational unit I asked that question to one of the engineers and he said that they eye can track it more easily when it's only focused on a single point and not constantly moving up and down the arc. Considering the processor in the Encore is a specialty piece, I doubt such a simple limitation is the

Mbee, you're confusing your ports. The BeoSound 2300 works using the Datalink socket (which looks very much like a powerlink socket) for MCL transmission. It's the precursor to the BeoLink. It's the exact opposite. As store managers and salespeople we would love to be able to integrate the BeoSound 5 Encore, but it is not currently possible

  • Re: Beovision 12 now on Bang&Olufsen.com

The BeoLab 12s have grown on me. My intial reaction was that there was way too much reflective surface. But I like the design. Like a lot of low-profile technology it's hard to capture the looks in a photo. I'm hopeing that they release a black and dark grey version to tone down some of the shine.
I'm afraid this does nothing for me and I question a strategy that follows the 'TV on the wall' direction. Surely the people B&O target live in homes with space. Do they really want their TV on the edge of the room? Let's face it, a decent Samsung looks pretty much as good on a wall. I think B&O

  • Re: BeoLit 12 is in the shops! Initial impressions?

I think that might be the big winner. The dark grey model has sold well, but with the other color combinations listed on the boxes, many clients have indicated that they'd like to wait for another color, especially the blue. Who could have guessed? I thought the dark grey would be the superstar.

  • Re: Struer Museum

Luckily, Struer is a slightly smaller metropolis than New York or London so finding it shouldn't be difficult! And yes, it's absolutely worth the trip. I can honestly say that I look forward to it as much as any other part of visiting Struer. Their collection of B&O is very comprehensive and the staff couldn't be nicer. I will add a
